7. David Bowie - I'm Afraid of Americans

Some 10 years ago he collaborated with Trent Reznor of Nine Inch Nails, resulting in an amazing version of Bowie's song I'm Afraid of Americans. The video (in which Bowie finds himself in a bit of a pickle) is also great, creting a solid background for the music.

This is pure class.

6. Sparks - This Town Ain't Big Enough for the Both of Us

Tuesday 06 November 2007 at 10:00 am ¶ Sparks is an American rock/pop band formed in the '70s by the Mael brothers, Ron (keyboard) and Russell (vocals). They are best known for their distinct sound (that culminates on Russell's highly feminine singing voice) and for their stage performances, on which Russell does all the typical glam rock movements and wide-eyed expressions, while Ron keeps his face in eternal scowl.

"This Town Ain't Big Enough for the Two of Us" from the album "Kimono My House" is probably their best known song.
